This page says what Zapps A/R keeps, and what we do not do with it.
What we store
For each company, we keep a copy of the customers, open invoices, payments, and credits that Zapps reads from QuickBooks. We also keep the notes your team writes: calls, promises, snoozes, and comments. That copy is for your company only. People at another company cannot see it.
Sign-in is an email address and a password. We use the email to sign you in and to send the morning and end-of-day notes, if you leave that on. We do not sell the list.
QuickBooks
QuickBooks stays the books. Zapps reads. It does not change invoices or payments in the company file. A desktop connection uses the Zapps tray on the QuickBooks computer. An online connection uses Intuit's sign-in. Intuit's own terms apply to that connection.
AI
If AI cards are turned on, the customer name, the open balance, and the recent notes are sent to the model so it can write a short summary and a suggested line. Those cards stay on your company. We do not use your books to train a public model.
Payments
The card for the subscription is taken by Stripe. We store Stripe's customer id, not the card number.
Cookies
The sign-in cookie is named zapps_site. It is limited to this site, it is not readable by page scripts, and it lasts 14 days. Logging out ends it on the server.
How long we keep it
Canceling the subscription stops the charge. The notes and the QuickBooks copy stay until you ask us to remove the account. Call, and we will delete the company.
